SPL (Student Pilot Licence)

SPL permits the holder to fly an aircraft under supervision of an approved flight instructor. This licence may be issued by a FAA inspector under the following eligibility criteria.

• Must be at least 16 years old for flying an aircraft and at least 14 years old to pilot a glider or balloon.
• Should have a valid medical certificate.
