Eligibility Requirements

The following are the basic requirements to become a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

• Must be over 21 yrs. of age
• Must have at least 5 yrs. experience in aircraft maintenance or aircraft component maintenance
• You must also be able to read, write and understand English
• Must not have any disability that could affect your ability to carry out your specified maintenance duties
• Aptitude towards technical and engineering activities
• Able to take responsibility
• Possess good communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Be medically fit
• Have good vision and hearing
• Have good hand-eye coordination
• High level of concentration
• Be neat and accurate in work
• Be able to work in confined spaces and at heights on platforms around aircraft
• Have analytical and problem solving capabilities.
• Able to adopt varying environment and working culture.
