Surface Plates
The surface plates are made of accurately machined cast iron with a hand finished perfect flat surface. Their bottom sides are beamed to prevent and twisting of the top face. The flat surface is used as the main horizontal reference plane for inspecting accuracy, for layout and for setting up the tool.
