The Pillar Drill or Drilling Machine
It is used to drill holes in a variety of materials. They machines are available with different drilling speeds. It can be either by the use of a selector lever or by changing the belt from the electric motor to the drilling pillar. The part to be drilled should be firmly riveted in a clamp with the guard in proper place.
